![]() There are some shots I want to get here asap, so here they are. I'll put them on the appropriate pages eventually. In the mean time, enjoy! |
Aft of shipNice large rudder, interesting shape, typical design for the era. |
|
Looking aft. On the right are the two huge boilers. The door at the end of the boiler room leads to the engine room. To the left there's a large opening that leads to the starboard coal bunker area. A mirror image of this area is on the port side. |
Boiler Room - another
viewI simply turned 180 degrees from the above photo and took this. The stairway leads to the "T" intersection that branches off to storage and the bow. |
Starboard Coal
Bunker -
FisheyeThe image is pretty distorted - it's taken with a 183 degree fisheye, but you get a good idea of the SIZE of this open area. The opening to the right is the same opening seen in the first boiler room shot above. |
Dining Room -
FisheyeLooking down to chain locker area. To the right is a head (bathroom), left a fancier head. Behind is the door leading to the deck, ahead is the bow. The area we're in here is almost under the "nac" in "Mackinac" on the page title. |
